This position involves the supervision and coordination of one of our school's breakfast and lunch program. Supervision will be exercised over the work of other food service personnel.
A qualified candidate must have at least two (2) years of satisfactory experience in food preparation and management in a cafeteria, restaurant or food establishment, a high school diploma or a satisfactory completion of a two (2) year training course in food administration in an approved technical institution or junior college.
EXAMPLES OF WORK:
Assists in planning of menus to meet nutritional requirements;
Prepares food and supplies orders;
Supervises the preparation and serving of food;
Supervises the storage and care of food and supplies;
Supervises the cleaning of the kitchen, serving, storage and dining areas;
Plans the work schedules of subordinate food service personnel;
Assists in the selection and arrangement of kitchen equipment;
Keeps records and makes reports pertaining to the building's food service program.
WORK SCHEDULE
40 Hours/Week, 10 Months/Year
