Location: District-Wide

Appointment: Temporary

Description: This is an entry-level, seasonal position focused on physical or outdoor work.

Examples of Work:  

• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, digging, and loading/unloading materials

• Assist skilled workers (e.g. maintenance teams)

• Operate basic hand tools and equipment

• Maintain cleanliness of work areas (job sites, facilities, grounds)

• Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear when necessary.

• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and on time

• Report issues or hazards to supervisors

Requirements of Applicants: One year of experience in heavy manual labor; or any equivalent combination of experience and training sufficient to indicate ability to do the work.

Salary:

$19.27/Hour (New Hires)

$19.77/Hour (Returning Summer Laborers) 

Hours: Up to 40 hours/week
